Ramblings and thoughts as I stumble through...
I recently had a conversation with an amazing person with whom I am so happy to be acquainted.
"Whenever I get irritated when I'm walking in crowds," she stated (which, by the way, happens regularly when you are a resident of this fine city), "I think about that quote that I read you."
She has read many quotes to me... words that strike her as incredibly written, profound, funny, or sometimes all three, she has the habit of sharing. I love that habit. But because of the number of choices I had, I couldn't recall the one of which she was speaking in this case in particular. My face must have relayed my enigma.
"You know, the one from New York Magazine--"
Ah, yes.
"--'People are such fucking fuckheads'."
I think she might be on to something there. And not only in crowds.
